The brand manufactures Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) of grade 43 and 53, Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), Portland Slag Cement (PSC), Sulphate Resistant Cement along with Ground Granulated Blast-furnace Slag (GGBS).

Products:

Ordinary Portland cement (OPC)

It is popularly recognized as grey cement, OPC has 96% clinker and 4% gypsum along with other materials. It accounts for sixty percent of total consumption.

The company manufactures two diverse grades of OPC cement – 43 grade and 53 grade.

43 Grade OPC:

Characteristics:

1. Most common general-purpose cement
2. Accounts for around fifty percent of the total cement manufactured in India
3. According to BIS requirements, the lowest 28-day compressive strength must be lowest 43 MPa and highest 58 MPa

Applications:

1. Common civil engineering works
2. RCC works
3. Precast works like tiles, pipes, blocks, etc.
4. Asbestos products like pipes and sheets
5. Non-structural works like flooring, plastering etc.

53 Grade OPC:

Characteristics:

1. Employed for higher strength concrete
2. Is inexpensive
3. Can save eight to ten percent of cement in concrete
   mix design
4. According to BIS requirements, the least 28-day compressive strength must not be less than 53 MPa

Applications:

1. Precast concrete items like paving blocks, building blocks, tiles, etc.
2. Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) works
3. Pre-stressed concrete components
4. Concrete roads, runways, bridges, etc
