This type of cement is exercised to resist sulphet attacks in concrete. The production of calcium sulpho-aluminates gets diminished, due to the lower percentage of Tricalcium aluminate.
Uses:
- Construction in contact with soils or else groundwater having extra than 0.2% or 0.3 % g/l sulphate salts correspondingly.
- Concrete surfaces subjected to interchange wetting and drying like concrete surface in tidal zone, bridge piers, apron, building close to seacoast.
Sewage treatment plans, chimney, cooling towers, water storage, sumps, drainage works, chemical industries, coastal protective works like sea walls, breakwaters, tetrapods, and so on.
